Jim and Barbara Moscovich bonded over a belief in the power of education and a love of music. These passions also inspired the couple’s recent $2.5 million donation to the Don Wright Faculty of Music, which will bring top artists to Western University and enrich the student experience.
Fuelled by a new, transformative $20-million investment from the university’s long-established partner, ImpactWX, the Canadian Severe Storms Laboratory will greatly improve severe and extreme weather detection and documentation.
The new facility houses the largest maker space in Canada available to alumni and students in all faculties thanks to a $10-million gift from Canadian entrepreneur and financier Ron Schmeichel, JD’95.
